The Old Monastery of Poschiavo is a place that inspires calm and reflection. Located in the village’s charming historic center, it immediately conveys a sense of deep serenity. The building offers 12 single and 10 double rooms, ideal for those seeking a break from the pace of everyday life, and houses a museum, a kitchen with a refectory, a conference room, and a cloister with a garden.
Following its renovation, the Old Monastery now serves as an ideal meeting place for groups, associations, schools, and individuals, offering the perfect atmosphere for cultural, artistic, or spiritual activities. It is also an inviting stopover for hikers wishing to explore the Valposchiavo.
The Old Monastery offers 12 single rooms and 10 double rooms, all simply and comfortably furnished. Each room includes either a private bathroom with a shower or a private bathroom located on the corridor.
All 22 rooms feature wooden floors, and the single rooms overlook the garden.
Every room is equipped with a kettle, a selection of Valposchiavo herbal teas, and a hairdryer.
In the Old Monastery, various rooms are available for your activities (making music, painting, singing, yoga).
BREAKFAST / DINNER
For groups, we prepare breakfast (and possibly dinner) in the dining hall of the Old Monastery
For individual guests, breakfast and dinner are served at Albergo Croce Bianca
CHECK-IN E CHECK-OUT
Check-in for the rooms at the Old Monastery takes place at Albergo Croce Bianca from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
We will be happy to provide you with all the necessary information to reach the Old Monastery and to make your stay enjoyable.
Check-out is at Albergo Croce Bianca by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
